Restaurant Review: El Posto, Karkardooma

ElPosto! – One of my favorite hangout places where I can sit comfortably and relish the yummiest red velvet cake I have had so far.

On my multiple visits, I have tried and tasted multiple cuisines and trust me – there hasn’t been one time when I was disappointed in them.

FOOD: My favorites include Minestrone Soup, Mint Mango Margarita and Bruschetta con funghi in starters, El posto special Pizza in mains and red velvet for desserts. I have also tried their Hazelnut Shake, Italian smooch, Chilly Paneer, Veg Dimsums, Nachos, Veg spring rolls and Paneer Peprika Pizza. ALL the dishes mentioned above are total steal for the given prices. They also offer red velvet shake, but the red velvet is the unrivaled winner!

Offering toothsome desserts and a laidback appeal – just the right amount of light, a fancy swing option for seating, sophisticate lamp setting and comfy seats, El Posto definitely sets benchmark for other bakeries in the vicinity.

AMBIANCE: A warm and welcoming, small yet spacious bakery with minimalistic decors and an elegant theme. Taking inspiration from the classy Italian decors, the place does complete justice to its name “El Posto”. It literally translates into “THE PLACE” and for those who take delight in tasting different desserts; this is the place to be!

SERVICE: The service wasn’t too slow, but there’s a scope of improvement there. Water refills and more have to be reminded sometimes, maybe because we hog on so much food :p and engage them in our orders. No grudges though. I absolutely love the courteous staff and appreciate their hospitality.

This is one place I would love to go back again..and AGAIN. Must Visit! The Karkardooma outlet offers a spacious sitting area, whereas, the other branches are take away only.

Closest Metro Station: Karkardooma

Take a rickshaw/auto to Aditya Mall from the karkardooma metro station if you aren’t in the cab already. It’s hardly a 10 minutes distance from there and would cost you merely 30rs by rickshaw.
